Top Dubai hotels offer summer incentives

Dubai to have world’s tallest hotel

Dubai, which is home to the world’s tallest building and the largest shopping mall, will open the world’s tallest hotel in mid-to-late 2012 at Shaikh Zayed Road.

Spread across two iconic towers, the 1,614-room JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai is set to become one of the region’s most desirable destinations, Marriott’s President and Managing Director for International Lodging Ed Fuller told a news conference in Dubai on Monday. More >

Kempinski delays Dubai hotel opening

Luxury hotel group Kempinski has delayed the opening of its Dubai hotel on Palm Jumeirah until 2013, although the attached residences will open as planned in July.

The group has made the decision to delay the opening of the 253-room hotel due to the economic downturn, and the current oversupply of hotel rooms in Dubai. More >

Dewan to design Abu Dhabi airport hotel
