At a news conference on Tuesday, airline and airport officials unveiled details of the daily service, which they said was slated to begin on Feb. 2.

“It marks the first time that we have nonstop service to the Middle East. And that has been a key strategical of DFW Airport for some time,” said DFW Airport CEO Jeffrey Fegan.

The new service will not only be more convenient for passengers, officials said, but will also bring about $227 million in revenue to DFW.
